Event Date Event Location April 13, 2012 Crossover (PAT 130)This 8 hour training event is designed to prepare men and women who have prior training and experience in secular mediation to use their skills as Peace Advocates serving their churches and the broader Christian community.
Schedule:8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Prerequisites:Verification of satisfactory completion of secular mediation training.
Cost: $195 for early registration on or before March 15, 2012. $275 after March 15, 2012. Cost includes snacks, lunch and all materials.
The Cove Church, Mooresville, NC - PEACE ADVOCATE PRACTICUM – May 19, 2012
Event Date Event Location May 19, 2012 This 8 hour event provides an opportunity for Peace Advocates to practice their mediation skills in a “real life” situation. Participants co-mediate one case study and are the parties in a different case study during morning and afternoon sessions. Participants discuss their cases and receive feedback from PeacePoint observers following each session. This event satisfies the annual 5 hour mediation experience requirement for Independent Peace Advocates.
Schedule:8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Prerequisites: Approved basic coaching and mediation training or PeacePoint Crossover training.
Cost: $95 for early registration on or before April 20, 2012. $125 after April 20, 2012. Cost includes snacks, lunch and all materials. Registration will close on May 9 to allow for distribution of case study materials to mediators and preparation.
Christ Covenant Church, Matthews, NC - MARRIAGE MATTERS - September, 2012

PeacePoint Cancellation Policy - A full refund is available if notice of cancellation is received at least 30 days before the start of the event. Refunds (less a $50 processing fee) are available if notice of cancellation is received no later than 10 business days before the start of the event. Substitution of attendees can be made at any time.
